Bigbury Proam - 30th of April 2010
Fine and Country are one of the main sponsors for Bigbury Golf Club located in the South Hams on the coast. Each year the golf club hosts a Proam which is attended by over 200 local people and fifty professional golfers from all over the country.
This year the big day was in April and irrelevant of the horrendous weather that came in, in the afternoon, a good day was had by all. Fine and Country entered three teams and were accompanied by Gary Emerson, Bobby Moore and Robert Evans.
Fine and Country along with Securiguard hosted a marquee providing the teams with refreshments as they left the course and a place to calculate their score cards and relax after a long day of golf. Helen Moore, Director of Fine and Country commented, we all had an enjoyable day and met many different people yet similar because they all wanted to win. We enjoy supporting the golf club and all proceeds from the day went to a cause we have support many times before 'Help for Heroes', a charity supporting wounded men and women of the armed forces'.
Ugborough Fair - Saturday the 10th of July 2010
The Fine and Country team attended the Ugborough Fair on Saturday and helped the Ugborugh and Bittaford Pre School sell raffle tickets on their stall. One of the parents made a cake in a house theme and visitors to the stall were able to guess the weight and the prize was the cake. Helen and Sharon from Fine and Country handed out balloons all day to the children visiting the fair and the entire day was a resounding success.
The weather was great and there were many stalls and fun fair games to include a bouncy castle, miniature train ride, crafts, hog roast, cake stall and the local band 'Sweat' played well known tunes throughout the afternoon.
