30th November 2007 - MAITLANDS WINS BEST NEWCOMER AWARD AT EUROPE’S LARGEST ESTATE AGENCY CONFERENCE
Local estate agent, Maitlands has been named as Home Sale Network’s ‘Best Network Newcomer’.
The Best Network Newcomer Award recognises the new member who has demonstrated an outstanding ability to embrace the Network’s concepts and principles.
To be nominated for the award, Maitlands was assessed on referral performance, overall contribution to the Network, regional meeting attendance, promotion of the brand, use of the website and Network initiatives.
Maitlands were selected for the Best Network Newcomer Award from among all the new members who have joined the Network over the past 12 months. Home Sale Network carries out comprehensive research in the local area before inviting new members to join the Network and be its representative in their local area.
Andrew Blacklock, Managing Director said: “We are delighted to have won the Best Network Newcomer Award. We have only been a member of the Network since September 2006, so to have had the efforts of all our staff recognised in such a short space of time shows what a fantastic team we have at Maitlands.”
Operating from three office in Devon, Maitlands employs 32 people and was established as an independent estate agency in 1994.
The winner, announced at a glittering black tie Awards Dinner at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, was presented with their award by comedian and broadcaster Rob Brydon and Miss Birmingham 2006, Emily Hilton.
Home Sale Network’s managing director, Richard Tucker said: “The Best Network Newcomer Award demonstrates of the level of professionalism and excellence of the estate agents who are invited to join the Network. It is testament to the fact that our members take a real pride in excelling both within the Network and the industry.”
