Surge In Rental Properties Requires New Member To Maitlands Lettings Team
With the property market showing signs of improvement, Maitlands estate agents have added a new member to their lettings team to better manage the surge in the number of rental properties being marketed through the firm.
The surge in the lettings market has led to an increase in the number of viewings being conducted and, therefore, Maitlands are pleased to welcome Carla Wickham to the team. Carla will oversee and coordinate the maintenance of all managed rental properties, whilst the rest of the team spend more time out of the office undertaking viewings, valuations and inspections.
Speaking about her new role, Carla said: “Anyone who rents a property knows too well how quickly things can go wrong. When it happens, you want to know that someone is on hand to help fix any problems quickly. The introduction of our new online maintenance form proved a success but we wanted to ensure there was someone that tenants could call.
“I’ll be the point of contact for all maintenance issues and can be reached 24 /7 on our emergency maintenance line. If our tenants have concerns over any maintenance issues, I’ll be here at all times to help.”
Claire Burt, Lettings Manager of Maitlands, is thrilled to welcome Carla to the team: “It is a pleasure to have Carla join our team and she has already made a significant impact in terms of managing the maintenance requirements for our rental properties. She’s evaluated and enhanced the process permitting us to deliver better customer service, whilst allowing other team members to focus on conducting viewings on behalf of our landlords.
“The 24/7 emergency maintenance phone line means that we can deliver a first-class service to our tenants and property owners ensuring that problems are dealt with swiftly and efficiently, minimising the possible impact to all parties. With Carla managing the emergency line continuously, as well as the complete maintenance programme, we are now able to offer our clients a more streamlined approach.”
Tenants will be able to contact Carla from Monday to Friday on 01752 661 111, during the evenings and weekends through the emergency maintenance line, as well as log any property issues through the website.
